New Features - 07/12/02
- Due to popular demand, reports are now
available for most of your
Look-Ups. You can now have print outs for
your Grooming Codes (with times), your
Veterinarians, Itemized Boarding Charges,
Itemized Grooming Charges, and a combined
report showing Boarding Rate Types,
Enclosure Types, and Feed Types.
- Atlantis will now support CALLER ID.
This is a major time saving
feature. When this option is enabled you
will see a blue telephone on the the left
side of both the Appointment bar and the
Client bar. When your kennel phone rings
the blue Client phone will turn white.
Placing your mouse on this white phone will
show you the name and phone number of who's
calling. Clicking on the white phone will
bring up that client's record. Atlantis will
search both the home and work phone numbers
to identify the caller. If the blue phone
on the Appointment bar also turns white it
means that the caller has a current or
future reservation. Clicking on this white
phone will bring up the current or future
reservation of the caller in addition to the
client record.
- An emergency utility program is included
in this update. This is a
separate program that can be placed on your
Window's Desktop that will allow you to
Rebuild Indexes, Remove Erased Records, and
even create a new local.dbf file. These can
all be done without going into your Atlantis
program.
- A correction has been made that should
eliminate the "You are about to change the
last name from ---- to --- " message that
would occasionally occur when adding new a
client.
- A problem existed if you tried to delete
an appointment that had a
deposit attached and you clicked the Abort
option. Instead of leaving the record as it
was it would delete that appointment and the
deposit would be lost in space. This has
been corrected.
- Runs that are assigned to Day Care pets
will no longer show up on the Vacant Runs
report as vacant. This has been changed so
that not only will the Day Care pets appear,
but if the next arrival for that run is a
Day Care pet the letter D wiil appear after
the date of the next arrival. This will let
you know that the run in question will not
be available until late that day.
- Our May update included a new feature
that allowed you to add new vets to your
look-ups while you were in the client file.
While this feature worked great it had a
side effect that would randomly delete
another look-up when a new vet was added.
This could have been an Enclosure Type, a
Rate Type, a City, or another Vet. This has
been corrected.
